Treating the cause, not just the symptom

Musculoskeletal physiotherapy treats the muscles, joints, tendons and ligaments that let you move. Whether you have a fresh sports injury, a nagging ache that will not settle, or pain that flares with certain movements, we look for the cause rather than chasing the symptom.

Treatment is hands-on and evidence-based, combining manual therapy with a progressive exercise plan. Where it helps, we use our heated pool to load an injury gently in the early stages before building back to full strength on land.

Your treatment is led by our HPCSA-registered team, including Sasha Hunt, who completed the Advanced Neuromuscular Skeletal Physiotherapy course, and Kayla, who focuses on sports rehabilitation. Both are keen runners themselves. Meet the team.

The water advantage

When the pool earns its place.

Most musculoskeletal injuries are treated hands-on, on land. Where it helps, the heated pool is a useful extra tool in the painful early stage.

  • Load injuries gently while they are still sore
  • Keep moving while protecting the injured area
  • Rebuild strength with adjustable water resistance
  • Bridge the gap back to full land-based activity

Common questions

Good to know before you book.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No, you can see a physiotherapist directly. If you have scans or a referral letter, bring them along, as they help us build the fullest picture.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the injury. After your first assessment we give you an honest estimate and review progress as we go.

Can I claim from my medical aid?

Yes. We bill all major medical aids directly. What your plan covers depends on your scheme and benefits, and we will gladly help you check before you start.

How much does a session cost?

We charge medical aid rates and bill all major medical aids directly. You are equally welcome if you pay cash or card, and we will gladly confirm the rate for your session type when you book.

How long is a session, and are they private?

Sessions run 30 to 45 minutes and are one-on-one. Group classes are available on request.

How warm is the pool and how do I get in?

The hydrotherapy pool is heated to 36 degrees all year round, with steps, rails and assisted entry. A separate cooler pool is also available on site, and there is disabled parking at the door with wheelchair-friendly access.

What is your cancellation policy?

Sessions are one-on-one, so a missed slot cannot easily be offered to someone else. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule, by phone or WhatsApp, and we'll gladly move your booking to a better time.

Is hydrotherapy safe for everyone?

Warm-water therapy suits most people, but a few conditions need extra care first, such as open wounds, skin infections, uncontrolled epilepsy or unstable heart conditions. We screen for these at your assessment and will recommend land-based therapy where that is the safer place to start.

Ready to get back to what you love?

Book an assessment and get a plan that treats the cause, rebuilds strength and works towards a confident return to training. After-hours appointments on request.
