Recovery that protects your result
The weeks after an operation matter. Good rehabilitation protects your result, restores movement and rebuilds the strength you lose while recovering. We work alongside your surgeon's guidelines and move you forward at the right pace, never too fast and never too slow.
Early sessions focus on gentle, protected movement, with time in our heated pool where it helps, letting the water support your weight. As you heal we progress hands-on treatment and strengthening on land so you return to work, sport and daily life.
Your rehabilitation is guided by our HPCSA-registered team, including Sasha Hunt, who completed the Advanced Neuromuscular Skeletal Physiotherapy course. Meet the team.

Common reasons people come to us.
Good to know before you book.
When should I start rehab after surgery?
Often within days. Gentle land-based rehabilitation begins soon after many operations, and pool work can start once your wound has healed, always guided by your surgeon's protocol. Send us your procedure and we will confirm the right timing for you.
How many sessions will I need?
It varies with the surgery and your goals. After your first assessment we give you an honest estimate and review it with you as you progress.
Will you work with my surgeon's protocol?
Yes. We follow your surgeon's guidelines and progress your rehabilitation safely within them.
Can I claim from my medical aid?
Yes. We bill all major medical aids directly. What your plan covers depends on your scheme and benefits, and we will gladly help you check before you start.
How much does a session cost?
We charge medical aid rates and bill all major medical aids directly. You are equally welcome if you pay cash or card, and we will gladly confirm the rate for your session type when you book.
How long is a session, and are they private?
Sessions run 30 to 45 minutes and are one-on-one. Group classes are available on request.
How warm is the pool and how do I get in?
The hydrotherapy pool is heated to 36 degrees all year round, with steps, rails and assisted entry. A separate cooler pool is also available on site, and there is disabled parking at the door with wheelchair-friendly access.
What is your cancellation policy?
Sessions are one-on-one, so a missed slot cannot easily be offered to someone else. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule, by phone or WhatsApp, and we'll gladly move your booking to a better time.
Is hydrotherapy safe for everyone?
Warm-water therapy suits most people, but a few conditions need extra care first, such as open wounds, skin infections, uncontrolled epilepsy or unstable heart conditions. We screen for these at your assessment and will recommend land-based therapy where that is the safer place to start.
Other ways we can help.
Ready for a stronger recovery?
Book an assessment and we will pace your rehabilitation to your surgeon's protocol, in the water and on land. After-hours appointments on request.
